In 2000 Cross-Pollinate was founded as one of
the first online accommodation websites in Rome that specialized in alternative
and unconventional accommodations. Throughout the years of growth, the identity
of Cross-Pollinate remained intact by listing only places that were
quality-controlled on site.
In 2019 Yupe took over Cross-Pollinate from
Linda and Steve. The platform went through a modern rebranding process in order
to provide customers a smoother user experience. As Yupe, our mission is to
build on the strong foundation that Cross-Pollinate created over the years. The
aim is to expand the current business so that more travelers can find and book
accommodations which are not easily found on the marketplace, often for less
than the cost of traditional hotels. Building upon the established customer
base and warm culture of hospitality, we will make this unique experience
accessible in new destinations. Yupe will preserve and strengthen the existing
tradition, whilst adding a fresh twist of simplicity and selectivity.
