Yupe Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy (“Privacy Policy”) is additional to Terms of Service (“Terms”) and among from is applicable to third parties (“Hosts”) who offer services (“Host Services”) to Yupe’s registered users (“Members”) that are seeking to book such Host Services (Members using Host Services are “Guests”). Therefore, any obligations provided hereunder for Hosts are additional to those provided under the Terms or other related guidelines, policies, terms and law and in no manner can be interpreted as exclusionary.

This Privacy Policy constitutes a legally binding agreement ("Agreement") between you and Yupe (as defined below) governing your access to and use of the Yupe website, including any subdomains thereof, and any other websites through which Yupe makes its services available (collectively, "Site"), our mobile, tablet and other smart device applications, and application program interfaces (collectively, "Application") and all associated services (collectively, "Yupe Services"). The Site, Application and Yupe Services together are hereinafter collectively referred to as the “ Yupe Platform ”.

When this Privacy Policy mentions “Yupe,” “we,” “us,” or “our,” it refers to the Yupe company you are contracting with.

The words commencing with an initial but not defined herein shall have the meaning ascribed to them under the Terms of Service.

Ø  We might collect and use your personal data automatically in some cases : Including but not limited to your IP address, the date and time you accessed Yupe Services, the hardware, software or internet browser you used and information about your computer’s operating system web request, referring / exit pages and URLs, number of clicks and how you interact with links on Yupe, domain names, landing pages, pages viewed, and other such information. We may also collect similar information from emails sent to our Members which then help us track which emails are opened and which links are clicked by recipients. The information allows for more accurate reporting and improvement of Yupe, and

 

Ø  Communications between you and Yupe , such as the service-related emails (e.g., account verification, changes/updates to features of the service, technical and security notices) submitted to you are further kept by Yupe as well as your queries submitted to Yupe by you.

Our Service Providers will be given access to your information as is reasonably necessary to provide the Service under reasonable confidentiality terms.

 

Please keep in mind that should you remove information that you posted to Yupe, copies may remain viewable in cached and archived pages of Yupe, or if other Members or third parties have copied or saved that information.

 

We would like to kindly note that legal requests concerning your personal information to be shared with legal authorities shall be responded by Yupe, if we have a good faith belief that the law requires us to do so.

 

4.     What happens in the event of a change in Yupe’s control?

 

Should we sell or otherwise transfer part or the whole of Yupe or our assets to another natural or legal person (e.g., in the course of a transaction like a merger, acquisition, bankruptcy, liquidation, dissolution), your information such as name and email address, Member Content and any other information collected through the service may be among the items sold or transferred. You will continue to own your Member Content. The party we are transacting with shall be obliged to honor the commitments we have made in this Privacy Policy.

 

5.     How long do we keep your personal information?

 

We may keep certain information associated with you in our archives for analysis and data integrity purposes. The amount of time we will store your information will depend on our purpose for collecting and using it. We do not store your personal information for longer than necessary for our business purposes or legal requirements. We may retain certain information even after you close your account for a certain period of time, for example when necessary to fulfill our legal obligations or to exercise, defend or establish legal rights.
